Big Red was surrendered to our rescue just before Christmas 2024, as his owner had passed away.  Big Red had been adopted by a elderly retired woman 3 years earlier, when he was 4 years old.  The bond between  Big Red and his owner was very strong.  Big Red loved her very much.

 

When his owner passed away, Big Red stayed on in her home and was cared for by a family member (who had cats of her own and a large dog).  However, Big Red was still lonely – he missed the companionship of his elderly owner.  We are hopeful that there is someone out there who is looking for a lovely snuggly now 7 year old lap cat. Big Red is truly a gentle giant looking for a new person to love.

 

Big Red is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas and parasites, and has been screened for FIV / FeLV.
