Adorable and affectionate Gracie is a young male cat who was found stray around Grace Point Square on Salt Spring Island (hence his name).  Gracie is a playful and gentle black and white tuxedo, estimated by our vet to be just over a year old.  Sadly, no one came forward to claim Gracie when he was reported as found.  It’s clear that he had been cared for and loved in the past, as he seeks out attention from people and loves to curl up beside his foster mom on her chair.

 

Gracie was extremely thin when he came into our care.  He had obviously gone without proper food for quite some time.  As such, he tends to gobble his meals and always looks for more.  Gracie’s adopter will need to feed him smaller more frequent meals as he settles into his new home.

 

Gracie would do well in a family environment.  He does love to play with toys, but his favourite thing of all is curling up on a lap for some love.  

 

Gracie has been neutered, vaccinated (FVRCP and rabies), treated for fleas and parasites, microchipped, and screened for FIV / FeLV.
