Please meet our beautiful girl Mudge. Mudge and her 3 week old daughter Smudge were trapped together earlier this year. Smudge was adopted, but Mudge needed time to learn to live with people. We worked slowly with her and gave her time and space. And one day – she decided it was ok to be touched.

Since then, her confidence with people has only grown. She loves following her foster mom around (especially at feeding time), and enjoys being held and having her head rubbed. She is easy to handle and can be picked up and snuggled. Mudge is gentle and loving when she feels secure and safe.Her coat is so soft and silky. And her tail has the cutest little hook with a white tip.

The ideal adopter for Mudge would be someone who would be patient and consistent with her. Older kids would be great. Mudge would probably do best as an only pet.

Mudge has been spayed and vaccinated (FVRCP and rabies), treated for fleas and parasites, tested for FIV / FeLV, and microchipped.
