Mr. M (aka Mr. Floofy) recently came into our care when his owner passed away. He was obviously loved very much, as he is an extremely affectionate and well-socialized cat.

Mr. M (aka Mr. Floofy) is a dog-cat through and through. What’s a dog cat? It’s a cat that behaves very much like a dog. Mr. M LOVES to come and greet you at the door (he would carry your slippers to you if he only could walk on his hind legs). He runs about with great dog-like energy, galloping through the house.
In his foster home, Mr. M LOVES to chase his toys, skidding around on the hardwood floors before SCREECHING to a halt (or running into the wall….).

Although he is an extremely active and athletic cat, Mr. M (aka Mr. Floofy) also loves to snuggle on the couch and sleeps right beside his foster mom’s head every night. Despite his size (he’s a LARGE cat and also a little on the chonky side), he is easy to handle and pick up.

Mr. M is a big cat and a strong cat. Although he is not in any way aggressive, given his size and strength, we would recommend that he not be adopted by a family with very young children.

Mr. M lived as an indoor / outdoor cat (on a large rural property) with his previous owner. He would not enjoy living in a small apartment. He has done well as an indoor-only cat in his foster home, but clearly would enjoy the opportunity to be outdoors as well (either in a safe location or with a catio).

Mr. M is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines (FVRCP and Rabies), microchipped, treated for fleas and parasites, and tested for FIV / FeLV.
