Hello!
Hello!

Please meet the gorgeous Penelope.  Penelope came into our care in the late fall of 2025, together with her kitten Penny (who has already been adopted).  Both of these girls came to us from a colony on Pender Island.  Penelope is now very affectionate with her foster mom and is such a gentle girl.  And just WAIT until you see her paws – they are so fluffy and gorgeous – just like Penelope!

Penelope has been spayed, vaccinated (FVRCP and rabies), microchipped, treated for fleas and parasites and tested for FIV / FeLV (negative results).  While in our care, we discovered that Penelope is mildly asthmatic.  This condition is easily managed through daily medication.  We currently have Penelope on an oral medication but have started to transition her to an inhaler which is preferred for long-term use.

We would be happy to place Penelope in a foster-to-adopt or longer-term foster home with someone who would be committed to providing daily care for her asthma.  This girl is such a beautiful kitty (just look at those eyes!) – and treatment is easy to manage.
