Charlotte and ‘Kitten Mom’ both came into our care through our colony management work in May of 2023.  Charlotte (the long-haired cat) was very underweight and extremely matted. She was also filled with fear-based aggression toward humans. But we were patient as we cared for and worked to build trust with her. This process takes time, consistency and patience.

Kitten Mom was just a kitten herself when she was trapped. An estimated 5 months old, she gave birth to FOUR KITTENS on her first night in care.  Miraculously, all four of these kittens lived and thrived and have recently been adopted (our Insect Litter of kittens).

Charlotte and Kitten Mom have been fostered together, and a most wonderful thing has happened – they have formed a wonderful friendship. In fact, we think it’s likely that Charlotte is Kitten Mom’s Mum. We are looking to place these two cats in a home together, where they can continue to develop their trust of humans. For that reason, a quieter, indoor only home would be preferred. We would welcome a foster to adopt placement and would be willing to offer greatly reduced adoption fees for this amazing pair. Both cats have been spayed, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies), microchipped, and treated for fleas and parasites.

If you are able to open your heart and your home to a special pair of deserving young cats, perhaps Charlotte and Kitten Mom might be the PURRfect cats for you!
