Are you looking for a handsome and gentle panther of your own? Look no further than Stuffing. Stuffing initially came into our care in 2023 as part of a colony trapping engagement. Stuffing (or Stuffy as we call him) was trapped and neutered and returned to his colony caretaker.
Big Red was surrendered to our rescue just before Christmas 2024, as his owner had passed away. Big Red had been adopted by a elderly retired woman 3 years earlier, when he was 4 years old.
Adorable and affectionate Gracie is a young male cat who was found stray around Grace Point Square on Salt Spring Island (hence his name). Gracie is a playful and gentle black and white tuxedo, estimated by our vet to be just over a year old.
Gorgeous Brooke came in during the summer of 2024 after she was trapped by a Salt Spring resident. Poor Brooke was happy living on the farm where she was trapped, but the property owner did not want her there.
Elsie is a gorgeous long-haired dilute tortoiseshell cat who was trapped as a pregnant colony cat in the late spring of 2024. Just days after she was trapped, Elsie gave birth to the loveliest kittens. But Elsie had never been handled before and needed some time to learn to trust.
Please meet our beautiful girl Mudge. Mudge and her 3 week old daughter Smudge were trapped together earlier this year. Smudge was adopted, but Mudge needed time to learn to live with people.
Mikey is one of the great ones. He is gentle, affectionate, and was so trusting almost immediately after coming into our care. Mikey would make an excellent family pet. He is truly one of the gentlest and sweetest cats we have ever met.
Lizzie came into our care as a “kitten mom” – a kitten who had kittens of her own. Her two kittens (Marshmallow and Creampuff) were adopted together. Now it’s time to find a home for sweet Lizzie.
Norman will melt your heart. He is such a wonderful cat who now just needs and wants love and a warm lap. Norman came into our care after having a hard life surviving on his own at the south end of Salt Spring Island.
Playful Isabella is just such a joy! Young Isabella came into our care in the summer of 2024 with her three wee kittens. The kittens were easily socialized and placed, but it took a bit longer for Isabella to learn to trust.
