It’s me – Lola. I’m checking in from my awesome foster home with Dorrie and Dave, and I gotta tell you – I like it here. I like it because my foster parents are kind and gentle with me (and they are generous with the treats too!). There are no other cats or dogs here (so I get all of the attention).
Adorable and playful Melody came into our care in late 2025 as part of our continued work to manage a mid-island colony. When she came in, Melody was dirty, skinny and matted. And just look at her now!
Please meet the gorgeous Penelope. Penelope came into our care in the late fall of 2025, together with her kitten Penny (who has already been adopted). Both of these girls came to us from a colony on Pender Island. Penelope is now very affectionate with her foster mom.
Cristina has been in our care since the late fall of 2025, when she came in through our north Salt Spring colony management work. Part of our ‘Grey’s Anatomy gang’, Cristina has gorgeous lush and thick black fur and a quirky tail!
We are reaching out to find a special person and home for our little Sweet Potato. This young mom (she is barely past being a kitten herself) was found hiding out near a dumpster with her three kittens (you might remember Pumpkin, Spice & Latte?).

Adorable 10 year old Atari was recently surrendered to our care, as her family is sadly not able to keep her. Atari is SO frightened – she has been with her family since she was a kitten. We really hope that we can find her a new home soon…
