Potato recently came into our care as part of a colony trapping exercise on Salt Spring.  FIVE young adult cats have been brought in so far from the colony.  Potato (and his brother Avocado are the first two ready to move into FURever homes.

Beautiful Bella is a 13 year old tabby cat who was recently surrendered to our veterinarian upon the passing of her owner.  Bella had spent all of her days with her owner since being adopted at the age of 7, so she was not used to being home alone.

Gentle Oscar came into our care in January of 2025.  A Salt Spring resident had heard him crying out, and then found him going through the garbage in her garage (hence the name OSCAR!).  After checking with her neighbours, it was determined that Oscar had been left behind…

Valentino is a handsome charmer with the softest fur and a goofy streak.  He’s the PURRfect mix of playfulness and affection. Valentino is about one year old, and recently came into our care after he was left behind to fend for himself in the neighbourhood where he was born.

Franny is a dainty, gentle little kitty with a graceful presence. She was brought into our care after she was found hiding out from the snow behind a local Salt Spring business.  Franny was very underweight and dirty…

Handsome Lenny came into our at the end of January 2025.  A local resident had been feeding him and was unable to locate any owner.  Although initially a bit shy, Lenny has clearly known people before.  Our veterinarian estimates that he is under 2 years old.

Adorable and affectionate Gracie is a young male cat who was found stray around Grace Point Square on Salt Spring Island (hence his name).  Gracie is a playful and gentle black and white tuxedo, estimated by our vet to be just over a year old.

Gorgeous Brooke came in during the summer of 2024 after she was trapped by a Salt Spring resident.  Poor Brooke was happy living on the farm where she was trapped, but the property owner did not want her there.

Are you looking for a handsome and gentle panther of your own?  Look no further than Stuffing.  Stuffing initially came into our care in 2023 as part of a colony trapping engagement.  Stuffing (or Stuffy as we call him) was trapped and neutered and returned to his colony caretaker.

Please meet our beautiful girl Mudge. Mudge and her 3 week old daughter Smudge were trapped together earlier this year. Smudge was adopted, but Mudge needed time to learn to live with people.
